The EU invites companies to participate in international infrastructure and energy projects under the Global Gateway initiative.
As part of the Global Gateway initiative, the European Union has launched a call for expressions of interest aimed at involving private sector players in strategic global projects.
The focus is on investments in renewable energy, digital infrastructure, transport, and sustainable supply chains. Companies have the opportunity to position themselves early in upcoming projects and gain access to international markets and financing.
The initiative is a key element of the EU’s strategy to strengthen global partnerships and promote sustainable investments. For companies – particularly SMEs – this creates tangible opportunities for international expansion and project development.
Successful participation requires a clear positioning and a well-structured project and financing strategy.
Submissions are made digitally via the EU Survey tool. The call has been open since 17 December 2025 and has no fixed deadline.
